widely used SCSI API standard. MP3 Wav Editor used the ASPI protocol to access the CD-Rom
device to rip your audio CD. The WNASPI32.DLL file is distributed in the official
Microsoft Windows 95/98 install CD-ROM. but for WinNT,Win2000 users you must put this file
in your windows system directory. (c:\windows\system or c:\windows\system32)

Does it handle ID3
tags?

Local CD database? I want to format my hard disk, How can I backup and restore the

MP3 Wav Editor save all the CD information in \localdb\ directory, for example:
if you install MP3 Wav Editor in C:\MP3 Wav Editor, the local CD database will be at
C:\MP3 Wav Editor\localdb\, you only copy all the files in that directory before you
format your disk. After install MP3 Wav Editor again, copy the backup files to \localdb\
again.
Output MP3
files are sounding bad?
MP3 is a lossy format. Based on the compression settings chosen by the user (Bit rate,
Sample rate, Channel info) , some of the audio data is thrown away or 'lost' to decrease
the actual compressed file size. This is why the more an MP3 is compressed, the poorer the
sound quality.

Where are my mp3s?
You're all ready to convert/Split/Join your mp3s...but where are they?
In Convert/Split/Join/CD Rip functions, the output directory need to be set, the default
directory is C:\My Music, all the conversion and split mp3 will be at that output
directory, and remain the same name as original. If in Join function of MP Wav Editor, the
joined output file will be C:\My Music\output.mp3, you can set it to any name and
directory you want.
